Clinical
Governance
At Flixton Manor Nursing Home we are committed to continually striving
to improve the quality of the care of the residents that live here. Clinical Governance involves everything that will have an effect on
that care.
These factors can range from: environment, cleanliness, food,
communication, all involving a wide range of individuals who all bring their own skills and expertise so that
residents will get far better care than they would get if provided by one person alone, whether critical or
not.
The partnership involving all individuals ensures that the resident is
involved and engaged in all decisions regarding their own treatment and care.
All staff including cook, domestic, handyman, office staff etc, make
their own contributions to the massive jigsaw which makes sure that care provision is delivered to the
highest standard possible.
Clinical Governance is:
-
Patient safety
-
Involving carers
-
Providing quality care at all
times
-
Lifelong learning
-
Collective responsibility
-
Including everyone
-
Recognising staff achievements
-
Common sense
-
Access to quality care, anytime and
anywhere
