Themed Days

Throughout the year, the calendar is planned to incorporate a number of themed days for our residents, friends and families to enjoy.

Here are a few examples

-         Easter Bingo and prizes

-         Wimbledon Afternoon with cream teas

-         Halloween Psychic Day

-         Bonfire Night Pie and Pea supper

-         St Patrick’s Day Celtic Celebrations

-         St George’s Day Celebrations

-         Valentines Day

The run up to Christmas starts early at Flixton Manor and the festivities really begin on the first with our annual “Trimming of the Tree.”  This is accompanied by sherry and mince pies and is always a great success and a lovely start to December.  Throughout this month we have wall to wall entertainment with visits from our local primary schools performing their carol concerts, visits from the local Brownie group performing their pantomime.  We also have a local ladies group who come in to perform their Christmas show, which is a mixture of alternative ditties and songs, tales and amusing anecdotes.
